TE Mentorettes

Fun Fact:

  • I am a huge fan of spy stories.

I am a Fellow in International Political Economy at LSE and a PhD candidate at Bocconi University, Italy. My academic credentials also include a Master in International law and Economics (MILE) from the World Trade Institute (WTI) in Bern, and a MA in International Relations and Diplomatic studies from the University of Bologna. Keen on exploring the relationship between emerging technologies and international trade from a legal and policy perspective, my research interests fall into the field of international political economy, trade in services, digital trade, data flows, artificial intelligence (AI), and law and technology. Prior to joining LSE, I have worked as a trade policy advisor for several international organizations – including FAO, ITC, UNCTAD, UNESCAP, World Bank and WTO – and national governments, and supported private firms’ efforts to access and operate in foreign markets. Believing in the importance of giving back to the academic and professional community I belong to, I decided to participate in the WTI Mentoring Programme as a mentor, offering MILE and TRAIL+ students support during their graduate studies and advice on career development. Since 2020, I have also taken a co-leading role in designing and managing the first mentoring programme for Trade Experettes.

Who do you look up to in the trade world and why? We would love to know the women trade expert that inspire you!

Too many to choose from :)
