Huan Zhu
Huan Zhu, Vice-President of China Trade Monitor. Zhu has a background in international economic law, intellectual property law, and comparative law. Previously, Zhu worked at a major U.S. think tank, where her research primarily focused on U.S.-China trade relations, WTO negotiations and disputes, and China’s trade and investment laws and policies. She also worked with business associations and law firms.

On December 1, 2020, China’s first Export Control Law took effect. The timing of the new law suggests that it is a response to recent high-profile export restrictions targeting Chinese buyers by the Trump administration (examples here, here and here).
