Penelope Ridings
Penelope Ridings is an Honorary Professor of Law at the University of Auckland, New Zealand, and Member-Elect of the International Law Commission. She practises in the field of public international law, including international trade and investment law, oceans and environmental law, and international dispute settlement.
Penelope was formerly New Zealand’s Chief International Legal Adviser as well as its International Trade Law Adviser. She has negotiated free trade agreements, represented New Zealand as Counsel in WTO cases, and advises on all aspects of international trade law.
