#TradingForward: ITC's Vanessa Erogbogbo talks to TradeExperettes about SMEs and trade

The WTO Director General, Roberto Azevêdo, has invited attendees at this week’s WTO Public Forum to make a short video about how trade can adapt to a changing world. TradeExperettes recently had the opportunity to chat with Vanessa Erogbogbo, Chief of Sustainable and Inclusive Value Chains, DEI/SIVC at the International Trade Centre, and we put the question to her. In our video below, Vanessa observes that there are now many more voices who want to be involved in trade - especially SMEs from developing countries - meaning that the challenge for policymakers will be how best to help empower SMEs to participate more successfully. Watch the video. (And don’t forget to come along to our joint TradeExperettes/Borderlex WTO Public Forum event on the new face of trading Africa on Wednesday 9 October!)
