Emilie Kerstens
Emilie Kerstens is a researcher at E3G, a climate think tank, in Brussels. She is also an affiliated researcher at the Center on Inclusive Trade and Development. Her research focuses on the potential of trade as a tool to tackle critical global challenges such as climate change, gender equality, and security. She was previously a fellow at the Institute of International Economic Law and a teaching fellow at Maastricht University.
She has also completed internships at the Center for Strategic and International Studies and New Markets Lab, among others. Emilie obtained her LL.M. in International Business and Economic Law and Certificate in WTO and International Trade Studies from Georgetown University Law Center with distinction. She also holds an LL.M. in International Law and an LL.B. in European Law from Maastricht University cum laude.
