Shaping Tomorrow’s Global Economy: The Transformative Power and Potential of Digital Trade

Digital trade is revolutionizing the global economy—enhancing efficiency, expanding market access, and fostering innovation. As digital technologies continue to reshape global trade, policymakers and industry leaders must navigate a rapidly evolving landscape, addressing regulatory challenges, infrastructure gaps, and security concerns to unlock the full potential.

The TradeExperettes and the Peterson Institute for International Economics (PIIE) cordially invite you to an in-person event on Thursday, April 3, 2025, at 1:00 PM EDT.

Join us for a timely discussion featuring a distinguished panel of experts: Martin Chorzempa, Senior Fellow, Peterson Institute for International Economic; Kat Duffy, Senior Fellow for Digital and Cyberspace Policy at Council on Foreign Relations; Joshua Meltzer, Senior Fellow, Brookings Institute. It will be moderated by Cecilia Malmström, Nonresident Senior Fellow at the Peterson Institute for International Economics, Advisor of TradeExperettes, and former European Commissioner for Trade.  Hanna C. Norberg, Initiator and President of TradeExperettes and Founder TradeEconomista will deliver a keynote speech.

This event will explore the transformative impact of digital trade, the policies needed to bridge the digital divide, and the future of global governance in the digital economy.

In-person attendance is exclusive to TradeExperettes members—please check your inbox for registration details. The event will also be publicly livestreamed for all others to join virtually.
